I configured a switch using this driver and device on Win7 with no problems. Just wanted to confirm that this works on Windows 8. You can find Win 10 version here: Not sure this RS is supported properly on windows 7! I solved it using Teraterm instead of Putty.

Tell us about your experience with our site. Usn have not tested this on Windows 8, but it should work. In Windows i use Putty to connect using telnet, ssh, serial or any other connection like that.

This driver kinda works for me but the putty session will lock up and require a reboot of the laptop at random intervals. Thanks for marking this as the answer. You can help protect sdrial from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer ussb number.

I have a D-link DGSSR rack switch for my servers, and it had some random IP address on the configuration interface that I was not able to find, and I needed to get into the switch to configure some vlans. I did not do it at first, and was not able to use the device before I prolifuc.

This is a very old comment but as I had the same problem and found a solution someone might be interested.

I have just spent 3 hours trying to find a driver that will work with windows 7 and have come up with nothing. If your trying Windows 7 or Vista 64bit, you'll find Belkin don't have 64bit drivers.
